  * Submission of abstracts opens May 2025
  * If you are able to, please send an email to [[mailto:matips@pm.me|matips@pm.me]] with your intended title and authors as early as you can but by **19 July, 2025, anywhere on Earth**. This will let us plan both for the number of participants and for the distribution of review tasks.   
  * Deadline for abstract submission:  <del>28 June, 2025, anywhere on Earth</del> <del>26 July, 2025, anywhere on Earth</del> **30 July, 2025, anywhere on Earth**
  * Notification of acceptance via email <del>on or before **August 1, 2025**</del> on the week beginning on 4 August 2025 
  * Conference in Edmonton, at University of Alberta, Canada 17-19 October 2025
    * MaTiPS schedule will be coordinated with Acoustics Week Canada 2025 (in neighbouring Calgary) to facilitate participating in both conferences.
