• The main way to get to Edmonton is by flying.
• You could also arrive by bus from Calgary (3-5 hours depending on connection *after* getting to town from the airport) and in this may be worth your while if there is a cheaper flight there.

• There is unfortunately no conference rate on offer.
• Hotel options are either:
  • University of Alberta accommodation options on campus or
  • any convenient hotel.
• For cheaper options:
  • there is a hostel within walking distance of campus.
  • Couch surf in local speech community:
    • Offered (for hosts)
    • Wanted (for visitors)

• Indigenous Peoples Experience in Fort Edmonton Park.
• Banff and Jasper in the Rockies are less than a day's drive away.
