Travel
- The main way to get to Edmonton is by flying.
- You could also arrive by bus from Calgary (3-5 hours depending on connection *after* getting to town from the airport) and in this may be worth your while if there is a cheaper flight there.
Accommodation
- There is unfortunately no conference rate on offer.
- Hotel options are either:
- University of Alberta accommodation options on campus or
- any convenient hotel.
- For cheaper options:
- there is a hostel within walking distance of campus.
- Couch surf in local speech community:
Sightseeing
- Indigenous Peoples Experience in Fort Edmonton Park.
- Banff and Jasper in the Rockies are less than a day's drive away.
